We love kefir! Kefir is a real, living food that is extremely nutritious and rich in probiotics. Where store-bought kefir and yogurt contain only a few different strains of beneficial bacteria, homemade kefir can contain up to 61 strains! These kefir grains have been fed only with raw milk from our farm. We maintain a culture that is fed our jersey cow milk and another that is fed goat milk. Kefir is not just for drinking or making smoothies - you can do so much with kefir! We use it to bake and to make dips and sauces, anywhere that you would use yogurt or buttermilk you can replace with kefir.
