We love our jersey girls!  Our dairy cows are purebred Jersey cows, they exclusively eat grass and broad-leaf plants that grow in their pasture and are supplemented in the winter/early spring with coastal grass hay.  On the milk stand they receive organic alfalfa pellets. Our Jersey cows provide us and our herdshare members with delcious, creamy milk. We "calf-share" with our girls allowing them to raise their calves to their natural weaning age (around 10 months), we get a little milk and the calves get the rest.
